Directions

Car rental agencies are located at airport in San Jose and a 4WD vehicle is recommended for hassle-free travel.

From San Jose: Travel due south thru the city of Cartago to San Isidro de General. Travel time is approx. 2 1/2 hours thru some of the most scenic areas in all of Costa Rica.

From San Isidro de General: Travel due west to the coastal town of Dominical. Travel time is approx. 40 minutes.

From Dominical Travel: Due south on the coast highway for approx. 4 klm. Turn left at the Dominicalito sign, make right at end of soccer field, pass church on left and school on right. Go through stream, stay on that road 21/2 klm. The Necochea Inn will be on the right, just as you pass a small creek. Travel time from the coast highway is 12 minutes.

From the Coast: Go West on the 3 to Orotina. Head south on the 34. Go past Dominical Travel for approximately 4km. Turn left at the Dominicalito sign, make right at end of soccer field, pass church on left and school on right. Go through stream, stay on that road 21/2 klm. The Necochea Inn will be on the right, just as you pass a small creek. Travel time from the coast highway is 12 minutes.
